Sightline 10.3 Release Highlights
The 10.3 Release of Sightline contains enhancements to our Productions module to allow users to easily manage and sort the fields being exported into a DAT. For review, users can now leverage viewing tags within a Tag Group as a single column in the DocList to make the review more efficient when there are a large number of tags in a project. This release also includes DB improvements, enhancements to the Cyber Coding form and added validation for Dataset and Folder creation.
Field Enhancements in Production DATs
When creating or editing a production, users can easily order the fields in the DAT export. This newly added functionality allowing users to drag rows up and down the grid, makes the process more manageable and saves time during setup.
Additionally, instead of a blank DAT when first creating the Production, there is now a default starter row with information prepopulated for the ProdBeginningBates.
Last, the layout has been re-arranged, consolidating all available fields into one dropdown to easily search for a specific field name.
Once a user selects a field, the field header is auto populated with the same name. This header name can be changed at any point in time.
View Tag Groups in a Single Column
Tag Groups can now be added to the DocList to easily show all tags that are part of that group in a single column. Users still have the option to view each tag individually, but there is now an alternative consolidated column view. With this change, if a user creates a Tag Group with 4 Tags under it, they no longer have to add each of the 4 Tags to the DocList to view the value.
When selecting the top level Tag Group header, a new confirmation window will display asking the user if they want to add the Tag Group as a column (view all Tag values in a single column), or each Tag as individual columns (as it already works today in Sightline).
When selecting to view the Tag Group as a column, any Tags applied to a document will all show in a single cell with a semi colon delimiter. Users may experience sorting issues that will be resolved in the coming release.
Other Improvements
As part of this release, several other improvements have been made including updates to the Cyber Review Table View Coding Form, Redaction Propagation, and Dataset and Folder creation.
