Sightline 10.4 Release Highlights
The 10.4 Release of Sightline allows Domain and Project Admin Users the ability to set the time zone and deduplication methods for the project. This release also allows Users to export Tags – within a Tag Group – as a single column in the Custom Document Data Report to make the report more efficient when a large number of Tags are exported. A new Production option is now available to allow Users to export large text files during the Production or Export process. This release also addresses priority production issues, enhancements to the ingestion process, and updates to the DocList.
Export Tag Groups as a Single Column
Tag Groups can now be exported from the Custom Document Data Report and added as a single column in the report. This provides the ability to easily show all tags that are part of a Group. Users will still have the option to export each tag individually
When selecting the top-level Tag Group header, a confirmation window will display asking the User if they want to add the Tag Group as a column (export all Tag values in a single column), or each Tag as individual column (as it already works today in Sightline).
If the single column option is selected, the CSV report will display the name of the Tag Group as the column header with multiple values delimited by a semi-colon.
Set Time Zone and Deduplication Method
When creating a new project, Domain Admin users can now set the time zone and deduplication method (Global, By Custodian, No Deduplication) for the newly created project. The default setting will remain UTC and Global deduplication however, there are now more than 100 specific time zones and two additional deduplication options that can be selected.
After the project is created, these settings can still be modified until the User creates a dataset. Once a dataset has been created in the project, these options cannot be changed.
Produce Large Text Files
Today when a document text file is larger than 30MB, the text file variant is placeholdered by the processing engine ICE and is not available in Sightline. While documents with text of this size do not usually have any review-worthy material, it is sometimes required to be produced, e.g., attachment of an email. In such a production, the typical requirement is to produce the native and the extracted text. A new setting will display in the Text section of the Production Components as seen below.
Other Improvements
As part of this release, several other improvements have been made including updates to Domain and Project name length, Dataset naming, DocList hierarchies and sorting, Concept Explorer, Drag and Drop Processing, Widgets, and Tag Groups.
